Reflecting on the week we spent together, I realize what a powerul personal learning experience it is for me when I attempt to facilitate learning for others. Thank you for being so engaged with us and for making our time together such a worthwhile part of my own educational journey. Wow! I have finally recovered from that busy, educational, productive week! Being a part of a lesson study team and going through facilitator training all in the same week was awesome! Tiring, but awesome! I retaught the lesson our team taught on that Friday and Monday--yes, it really was a two day lesson we had tried to jam into one day! The students were much more successful with the jigsaw idea, and they underlined much less--thus showing a more mature understanding of underlining the main idea. Quiz grades on the content were good too! Everytime we do a lesson study cycle I am more convinced that Lesson Study ROCKS!

Margo, That is so great to hear! Your team is so collaborative and support each other in such meaningful ways. Like Linda, I learned so much through the experience as well. It was fascinating to watch your team grow across the course of the year!
